Topaz - 18 gm - Mason County, Texas

This 18gm clear topaz  piece is very typical of the natural  topaz in the alluvial deposits in the western central portion of Mason County, Texas. The exterior surfaces are abraded, there are internal inclusions and was deemed not suitable for gemstone faceting. This stone is NOT facet grade!
